The husband's or donor sperm is used:
Requirements:
- An adequate semen sample
- Normal female reproductive pathway (at least one functional Fallopian tube)
- Hormone treatment (ovulation induction) to ensure the development of more than 1, but preferably less than 5 eggs
- Monitoring of follicular growth.
- Induction of ovulation
- The sperm sample is prepared on the day of ovulation.
- Intrauterine insemination of the wife with the husband's sperm / donor's sperm.
- Pregnancy test (approximately 2 weeks after insemination).
Number of visits to clinic: 2 to 4 per cycle
Pregnancy chance: 10-20% per cycle |
