152 IVF cases were started
Main causes of infertility were endometriosis, male factor and tubal factor.
Mean age = 36.0 +/- 4.2 years (Range 25 to 47 years)
148 reached oocyte pick-up (OPU).
The mean number of ooctyes retrieved = 10.3 +/- 8.3 (Range 1 to 28 ooctyes)

129 had embryo-transfer (ET) (129 / 148 /= 87.2%)
Mean number of embryos transferred = 3.2 +/- 1.3
(Within the guidelines laid down by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine)

19 cases did not reach embryo transfer
  • 11 cases were due to failed fertilization
  • 4 cases had poor embryo quality
  • 2 cases abnormal fertilization
  • 1 was due to failure to produce semen on the day of oocyte pick-up
  • 1 was due to failure to obtain eggs
The clinical pregnancy rate per embryo-transfer was 47.3% (61/129)
  • 8 miscarriages (8/61 = 13.1% of clinical pregnancies)
  • 1 ectopic pregnancy (1/61 = 1.6% of clinical pregnancies)
  • 52 deliveries
The delivery rate per embryo-transfer was 40.3% (52/129)
  • 28 singletons (53.8%)
  • 15 sets of twins (28.9%)
  • 9 sets of triplets (17.3%)
In total 85 babies were born.
  • The number of babies take-home per IVF cycle started was 55.9% (85/152)
  • The number of babies take-home per Embryo Transfer was 65.9% (85/129)
