Our embryologists are dedicated to carry out reproductive technologies, performing specialised procedures such as semen analyses and preparation for intrauterine insemination, in-vitro fertilization, embryo culture, ICSI, blastocyst culture, cryopreservation (freezing) of sperm and embryos, assisted hatching and intracytoplasmic sperm injection.

Senior Embryologist at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary since 1991. Scientific inspector for the Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority (HFEA) in the United Kingdom with a role in the licensing process for IVF units and ICSI practitioners. Founder member of Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE), United Kingdom and member of the Executive Committee and Training Committee and Examination Board of ACE from 1993 - 2002.
